AFL Pakistan successfully concluded the Interclub Women’s Championship 2025 at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex, with Rising Star Footy Club claiming the national title after two days of competitive Australian Football featuring the top women’s teams from across the country.

The tournament, held on 29–30 November, was supported by the Australian Government through Australian Aid under the Direct Aid Program (DAP). Five qualifying clubs competed in the championship rounds, marking another milestone in the expanding landscape of women’s Australian Football in Pakistan.

The finals were attended by Ms. Georga Nonnenmacher, Second Secretary at the Australian High Commission and Chair of the DAP Committee, who served as Guest of Honour. She praised the talent on display throughout the tournament and reaffirmed the Australian Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that empower women and provide opportunities for youth through sport. Ms. Nonnenmacher also presented medals to the finalists and handed over the Championship Trophy to Rising Star FC.

AFL Pakistan’s President & Chairman, Sardar Tariq Mehmood Khan, thanked the Australian High Commission for its continued support and highlighted the organisation’s mission to expand access to Australian Football nationwide.
