Bulldogs Dominate Saints with Emphatic 72-Point Win

The Western Bulldogs (Dogs) put in a powerhouse performance at Marvel Stadium, crushing the St Kilda Saints (Saints) 20.12 (132) to 8.12 (60). The Dogs got off to a blistering start, kicking 11 goals in the first half to secure a commanding lead.

Midfielders Caleb Daniel and Marcus Bontempelli led the contested ball efforts, combining for over 45 disposals and multiple clearances. Their dominance ensured the Dogs controlled inside 50 entries and stopped the Saints from building any rhythm.

Sam Darcy impressed in front of goal, slotting four majors, while Tim English racked up 20 hit-outs and provided strong support at stoppages. The Saints managed some late-term goals, but the margin was already beyond reach.
